Lifting Technologies built and sold its first material-only platform in 1992. We have since built several hundred of these types of platforms. The uniqueness of this type of platform is that, unlike our other platforms, there are literally no two alike. One of our most frequently asked questions is "what do you have in stock" and the answer is almost always the same - "none".
Our crane material platforms are all custom ordered which ensures the design suits your work site’s needs specifically.
We create each crane material basket based on specifications such as capacity, length, width, height, gate or ramp, type of floor, etc. These platforms can be a crane or hoist suspended forklift mounted, or both.
Once we have determined the exact specifications required, we provide a quote to the customer. Once the customer has ordered, we put it on the production schedule. As soon as we have it built and prior to powder coating, we load test the platform to the requested capacity, document it, and provide that documentation to the customer.

Cane Material Basket Features
Material baskets are the newest product line of Lifting Technologies but have grown the most. These platforms can be crane-suspended, forklift-mounted, or both. They are all designed specifically to a customer’s needs. This means the platforms have different shapes, sizes, capacities, features (such as gates and ramps), etc.
TEST WEIGHT SYSTEM
For ideal safety practice, material platforms should be tested any time the crane is moved. Our Test Weight System makes following this regulation simple and painless.
SAFETY GUARANTEED
As soon as we build your crane material basket (prior to powder coating), we load test the platform to the requested capacity, document it, and provide that documentation to you. Each of our crane material baskets is guaranteed safe.
