Each yellow-and-black Premier round basket combines high-strength round-tube construction with a base-attached sling assembly to create a stable, efficient workspace under the crane hook. Every model ships as a turn-key package with our detachable Test Weight System, sling assembly, and access to Lifting Technologies online video training so you can verify safety and go to work at height with confidence.​
Round Crane-Suspended Man Baskets
Premier round crane man baskets are designed for applications where crews need to work around the full circumference of a structure rather than along a straight line. The round shape minimizes overall size while still providing an efficient workspace, keeping workers equidistant from the work surface and reducing challenging reaches.​
These baskets are commonly used on towers, stacks, tanks, columns, and other cylindrical equipment in power generation, petrochemical, and industrial facilities where 360-degree access improves productivity and safety.​
OSHA-Compliant Premier Round Man Baskets
The Premier Round Series has an OSHA Certificate of Compliance, and each model is equipped with our detachable Test Weight System so you can complete 125% proof-load testing in accordance with OSHA personnel-hoisting requirements. All round man baskets are sold as a turnkey package that includes the platform, base-attached sling assembly, test weights, and training resources.​
Premier Round Crane Man Basket Features
Our crane man baskets are made according to OSHA specifications. They are safe, long-lasting, and dependable.​
- Dedicated base-attached suspension system that maximizes stability and provides even load distribution during lifts.​
- Electrostatic powder-coat finish that provides high resistance to impact, abrasions, chemicals, and corrosion, available in standard safety yellow and black or optional custom colors.​
- Unique easy-on/easy-off detachable Test Weight System supplied with every basket to support 125% proof-load testing and OSHA compliance.​
- Heavy-gauge steel frame and floor grating to provide solid platform support in demanding environments.​
- High-strength 0.140" and 0.145" wall, 1.660" and 1.900" O.D. steel round-tubing frame for robust structural performance.​
- Sling assembly suspension system of 1/2" 6x36 IWRC wire rope, secured to a master link and attached to the platform base by swage sockets and safety threaded clevis pins, plus a safety leg for tie-off to the load line above the overhaul ball.​
- Sides enclosed with perforated steel plate from toe-board to mid-rail to help contain tools and materials while maintaining visibility and reducing wind load.​
- 42" high guardrail and inner grab rail around the entire perimeter, providing personal fall-arrest anchorage in compliance with OSHA 1926.502, Subpart M.​
- Optional access gate with positive restraining device for controlled entry and exit.​
- Optional overhead protection with perforated steel skylights, providing approximately 6' 7" interior height above the platform floor on overhead models.​

Man baskets have a 42" guardrail height from the floor, and overhead models have a 79" inside height from the floor to the overhead frame. All dimensions are outside dimensions. The rated load capacity of all models may be increased on a case-by-case basis, and overhead protection is available on all models.
